Bio Susan Nelson came to interior design after several other careers, including sports management in New York and budget analysis at the U. S. Senate. She studied interior design at Marymount University and started Susan Nelson Interiors in 2002. She loves combining colors and patterns to create lively and unique settings. She approaches each project as an opportunity to create an environment that reflects the client’s sense of style. In her view, the best projects are those that are a true collaboration between herself and the client. Susan lives in Great Falls, Va. with her husband John. They have a son, Jack, who is at college, and a daughter, Lily, serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Africa. |
