Over the past decades, the founders of Syra Arts have developed a strong and deep network of contacts within the Egyptian arts scene and that of neighboring countries in teh Middle East. As longtime collectors and cultural operators, they believe that the process of introducing Egypt's leading artists into America will facilitate a broader process of cultural exchange, raising awareness and understanding between the two countries.
An exciting program of panel discussions, artist lectures and live art shows will help in introducing to DC residents the rich and diverse contemporary art scene in Egypt.
