“A room with a view” conjures up feelings of relaxation and tranquility, which clearly are conducive to “a summer house.” This Studio Nuovo designed space has been transformed into a dreamy retreat that focuses on a peaceful color palette, clean uncluttered lines and a view overlooking the coastline. Throughout the space one is confronted with a feeling of harmony and serenity.
The Room with a View, which can easily accommodate a gathering with friends, exudes a sense of casual chic sophistication. With the contemporary pieces selected, the space is designed to incorporate a collaboration of art and scenery so as to enhance one’s appreciation of living at the shore.
The paint selection of Ciara Yellow in a Full Gloss finish from Farrow & Ball is applied to the accent wall to create a vibrant effect and highlight the commissioned artwork created by Lisa Tureson of Faux Creations. The combination of serene tones, bright colors and Lisa Tureson’s exquisite rendition of the view from the window are a perfect match to harmonize wonderfully with the room’s summertime feel.
At Studio Nuovo we consider the functionality of space, one’s life style, as well as environmental concerns to find the proper balance between one’s quality of life, work needs, and social outlets.

Studio Nuovo Studio Nuovo strongly believes that the profession of interior design must consider the functionality of space, the life style of the client, as well as environmental concerns in order to find the proper balance between the client’s quality of life, work needs, and social outlets. Ricardo A. Ramos and Sheree L. Friedman; IFDA, Allied Member ASID (both); are the principals of Studio Nuovo. Ricardo is a graduate of Virginia Tech University, having earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a Minor in Interior Design. Sheree is a graduate from Marymount University, having earned with high honors a Bachelors of Arts degree in Interior Design. Together, they bring a combined 27 years of experience.
