In thinking about this season's theme, I considered my favorite destinations – places where you can sun-worship or sight-see, relax or revel, shop or ... shop! And what vacation spot combines all these elements, and is in one word chic? Palm Beach. I envisioned a glamorous, yet playful house where guests would be dazzled by every room they enter. I chose to design a powder room with adjacent lounge – a smaller space that would provide maximum impact. A combination of textures, eras and styles lends itself to a Palm Beach aesthetic and creates a dynamic look that is both smart and fashionable.

Huntley & Company Interior Design

Huntley & Company Interior Design was founded by principal designer, Tricia Huntley. Tricia’s aesthetic has been described as “unique, American luxe” and articulates her passion for creating environments that are beautiful, interesting and comfortable to live in. Her current projects include homes in DC, Maryland, Virginia and Carefree, Arizona.

Trica received her MFA in interior design from The George Washington University’s program at Mount Vernon College. She graduated with honors and worked for such firms as Brown Davis, BBGM and Solis Betancourt. Her tutelage under Jose Solis and Paul Sherrill at Solis Betancourt is counted as one of the designer’s most rewarding experiences. Her past design projects have included traditional and contemporary residences, hotels and offices in the US and the Caribbean.

Prior to her design career, Tricia studied art history and photography as an undergraduate. She considers the study of these disciplines an asset for a designer and often selects and procures art collections for her clients.

“The best design comes from listening to and collaborating with one’s clients. A space should be stylish and comfortable. But most of all, it should reflect the individual who inhabits it. I believe the most beautiful homes are those in which the designer has created a living illustration of her client’s character, personality and lifestyle.
