The Washington Design Center now offers consumers not currently using an interior design professional, an exclusive insider purchasing opportunity.  Through Entrée, you can now access a unique courtesy purchasing service that allows you to procure a limited number of to-the-trade items from our Design Center showrooms.

With Entrée, you will receive a free, one-hour, no-obligation designer consultation with our Entrée Representative.  You can use this one hour in any way you choose: review floor plans, ask color questions, discuss solutions for your design problems and make your purchases from The Washington Design Center’s numerous furniture, fabric, accessory, kitchen and building showrooms.  All with a design professional by your side!

If you are looking for an exact to-the-trade item to purchase, and not a room renovation or home redesign, then The Washington Design Center’s Entrée is for you.

HOW IT WORKS:

The opportunity allows for the purchase of a minimal amount of items in a limited shopping time frame.  The benefit of the Entrée is access to designer products at the designer rate plus a nominal mark-up to the Entrée Representative for their time and service.

Upon completion and submission of the online request form, an Entrée Representative will contact you with an initial telephone “meet & greet” at no charge, explaining how the service and fee structure works.  You are encouraged to be prepared with information as to the product(s) you wish to purchase, measurements of space, paint/fabric swatches, etc.

Once the criteria for the Entrée is confirmed, you will meet with the Entrée at The Washington Design Center for an on-site consultation at no charge which includes an hour of shopping for the desired item(s).

Product purchased within the first hour of shopping is at the designer net rate plus a 20 percent Purchase Service Fee to the Entrée Representative.

Product purchased after the first hour up through the term of the second hour is at the designer net rate plus a 25 percent Purchasing Service Fee to the Entrée Representative.

Should the consultation/shopping period move beyond the term of the second hour, the Entrée Program terminates, along with all associated services and benefits. You will have the option to transition a designer/client relationship and can continue with the Entrée Representative as his/her personal design client and in accordance with his/her company’s fees and policies.  Or, we encourage you to select an alternative designer from our Find-A-Designer listing on www.dcdesigncenter.com.
