Design Center Gets a Facelift

On March 12, 2007, The Washington Design Center unveiled a newly renovated lobby befitting the elegant sophistication of the showrooms that reside within. The transformation includes beautiful granite floors, lofty ceilings, vibrant lighting and an attractive reception area. All who see it agree, “It now looks like you are entering a design center!” The finishing touch is the warm and inviting vignette created by renowned designer, Frank Randolph, which includes attractive products from showrooms throughout the center. Fabric Runway Features this Spring’s Hottest Textiles

A fabulous feature at our Spring market and lobby unveiling was a diva runway featuring gowns of fabric that stole the show. Participating showrooms included textiles from Brunschwig & Fils, Duralee, Fabricut, Hines, Houlès, J. Lambeth & Co., Michael-Cleary, Osborne & Little, Robert Allen | Beacon Hill, Scalamandré and Stark, and was The Washington Design Center’s nod to fashion week.

New WDC Web Site Launching Soon!

The country’s most sophisticated design center Web site will launch with features such as showroom Web pages, a sophisticated Find-A-Designer search feature, the ability to create project carts, up-to-date event calendars and much more.
