The Washington Design Center is the hub of luxury home furnishings showrooms throughout the Washington/Baltimore region. It is the first stop for interior designers looking for the best-quality products for their clients, and where they build long-term relationships with showrooms.

By leasing at the WDC, tenants have access to these designers and their affluent clients, as well as consumers looking for something better than anything available at retail. The marketing department supports the showrooms on many fronts, from print and web exposure to exclusive events.

Marketing efforts include:

  • The WDC houses multi-industry tenants that attract designers, architects, consumers, and other industry affiliates.
  • Free parking provided to Top 100 designers – as determined by the showrooms – and discounted parking offered to all other registered designers, making it easy for them to shop the WDC
  • Designer on Call, our consumer buying service, opens the WDC to new, broader channels of customers
  • Find-A-Designer, our online portfolio, accepts only designers with showroom recommendations, ensuring that the portfolio contains just those top designers who have solid relationships with the WDC
  • Opportunity to showcase product within the WDC by means of lobby display platforms, floor display cases and signage
