Christine Hecht Payne is a sixth generation Washingtonian with deep roots in the community. She is a graduate of Mount Vernon College at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. with more than 25 years’ experience as a licensed interior designer. Her early work included design for the diplomatic community through an international design firm and large-scale residential projects while an associate at Persimmon Tree Design. Her next role as director of Lord & Taylor’s design department prepared her for starting her own company in 1987. Since then, Hecht Payne’s focus has been on residential and commercial projects including restaurants, hotels and executive and professional offices. Christine Hecht Payne Interior Design is a full-service design firm based in Washington, D.C. The firm specializes in sophisticated residential and commercial interiors that are beautiful and functional. From concept to completion, they transform both new and existing structures into warm, inviting, livable spaces that combine a sense of whimsy and a dramatic use of color. The end result, whether traditional or modern, is timeless. |
