The WDC’s sample sales occur in the spring and fall, when trade professionals and consumers can shop discontinued floor samples in select showrooms at huge discounts of up to 75 percent off.
Hundreds of shoppers descended on The Washington Design Center on Feb. 19 to look for bargains, and judging by the bolts of fabric, chairs, lights, pillows, and artwork that walked out the door, they found them. Our onsite shipping service was kept busy all day with steady orders to ship the larger pieces of furniture that customers couldn’t carry themselves.
