Design Inspiration

The Washington Design Center is host to more than just beautiful product. We also demonstrate how those products can be mixed and matched to create room settings that reflect your personality and style. Going beyond flipping through the pages of a magazine, our programs exist to showcase the product in both functional space and a library of online inspiration.

 

  • DreamHome:

    Each year, we select from the area’s most talented designers to scour our showrooms and decorate the eight spaces in the new 5th-floor DreamHome, to give visitors a sense of the beauty and inspiration available at The Washington Design Center.

  • Lobby Vignette

    Twice a year, the showrooms choose a Hall of Fame Designer to ask to display his or her decorating talents in The Washington Design Center's grand, two-story lobby.

  • Hall of Fame

    The showrooms vote each year to honor a designer for his or her career accomplishments by inducting him or her into The Washington Design Center Hall of Fame.
