Trends in Tile for Kitchen, Bath & Beyond
Featuring Jen Renzi

New technological breakthroughs and trendsetting decorative finishes from Italy and around the globe are changing the way designers can specify tile for use indoors and out. Jen Renzi, author of the soon-to-be released book “The Art of Tile” and a prominent freelance design writer for The New York Times Magazine, Interior Design, Surface, Miami Herald, etc. will discuss the wide range of available products including everything from cutting-edge large-format porcelains to hand-made artistic ceramics. Extending far beyond the traditional kitchen and bath applications, Renzi will show innovative design and architectural installations in residential and commercial projects. She will present the latest tile trends from Italy and illustrate how they are in step with trends in the fashion and furniture industries. She will also address the sustainable attributes of tile and how this product can be used towards LEED-certification and green building.
